!! UK FESTIVAL ANNOUCEMENT !!

We have been selected to appear on the "Introducing Stage" at the UK West Coast Folk Festival in Blackpool, UK. There will be 4 acts on each day, (12th, 13th & 14th January) and we will hit the stage at 3.45pm on Friday 12th to play a 45 minute set of our own original material. The audience then get to vote for their favourite act each day and the winner of each day is invited back to play on the Main Stage the following year. If you are able to come along and support us and also catch some legendary headliners (Richard Thompson, Tom Robinson Music, Eddi Reader, Cara Dillon and many more) we would love to see you there x

We would like to thank Stephen and all the team involved at Solid Entertainments for this amazing opportunity.

Advance tickets can be purchased here - Tickets (solidentertainments.com)

Thrifty Malone are a 4-piece group based in Gibraltar. On the gigging circuit they play an animated mix of Irish, Folk and Country, creating a distinctive sound. They have a great reputation for their live performances in Gibraltar, Andalucia and the UK. They performed at the Gibraltar Calling MTV Music Festival alongside Steve Harley, Liam Gallagher, Take That and have recently been selected to play a full set of their original songs on the Introducing Stage at the UK West Coast Folk Festival in January 2024. This comes on the back of supporting John Otway and the Big Band, here in Gibraltar, and the release of their fourth original track, with more to follow. The band’s music is regularly played on Radio stations in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Gibraltar, Australia and also at sea on the legendary Radio Caroline.

Voted Rela Radio America's Artist of the Year 2020.
